Torch Tower, Khalifa Stadium and Museum at Aspire Zone
The Torch Tower, a landmark project consists of a design and build of a 300m high tower located at the Khalifa Sports City.
The tower houses a 120-bedroom five-star hotel, health clubs, a sports museum, a revolving restaurant and a viewing deck. The external facade is a combination of architectural stainless steel and glazing panels. A large gas Olympic Flame Torch is accommodated on top, allowing a live flame to be lit on special occasions e.g. Asian Games 2006.
Total area of about 35,500m2.
The Khalifa Stadium and Museum is a crucial project for the Qatar’s 2019 World Athletic Championship and the 2022 World Cup Football tournament, expected to host group games, quarterfinal, semifinal and more games.
The project is based on a FIFA compliant Design, and includes modifications to the stadium pitch, seating, structures, services, facilities, reinstatement of running track, and lighting systems to meet the FIFA requirements. Also the reconstruction of roof with all associated services.
